Friends of Castle Green CIC (FoCG)
Friends of Castle Green is a volunteer led community interest company that is committed to respecting the heritage of the historic Castle Green in the centre of Hereford city, making more use of the Pavilion and the park for the community, and improving and protecting it for future generations.
With a team of wonderful volunteers, we look after the environs of Castle Green, keep the flowerbeds looking tidy, hold events on the Green and also manage the two buildings, the Pavilion and the Club House, both of which are available to hire.
The Pavilion
Two large rooms are available to hire - the River Room on the Ground Floor and the Artists Room overlooking the River Wye. The rooms are the perfect space for parties, exercise classes, workshops, meetings, conferences and a multitude of other uses.
The Club House
The former Bowling Green and Club House were taken over by Friends of Castle Green in early 2024 for use by the community.
The Club House can be hired by community groups looking for a basic meeting space. The bowling green is a large enclosed outdoor space ideal for outdoor events and community get-togethers.

Founded in 2008, Friends of Castle Green CIC has developed into a well respected and active community group. FoCG is run by a Board of volunteer directors and our aim is to protect and enhance the wonderful historic area of Castle Green in Hereford for future generations.
